INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS
SEASON TICKET POOL

The display below represents a decision model for the assignment of games in a Red Sox season ticket pool. David, Jason and Kevin each participate in a pool that has 30 games available. In this pool, David has paid for 15 games, Kevin has paid for 10 games and Jason 5 games. Each of them have ranked all 30 games from 1 to 30, with 1 being most favored (see their rankings here ). They would like to have the available games allocated in way that maximizes individual and overall satisfaction.

In order to identify the best possible ticket allocations, over 10,000 different game assignment scenarios were generated. A decision model was developed to calculate the individual and overall satisfaction of each of these scenarios, based on the game rankings by David, Kevin and Jason. The display below allows for the selection of the scenarios that meet individual and overall satisfaction criteria, with the end result being an optimized schedule of assignments for all 30 games.
