WEB PAGE ANALYTICS

The display below shows summary analytics for the apofacy.com website. It is attempting to analyze traffic around data visualization page (like this one). Visitors to data visualization pages are expressing an interest in the types of services that Apofacy offers, and are exhibiting a buying signal with their visit. Understanding who these visitors are, where they come from, and how they get to the site is key to Apofacy's business development.

The chart in the upper left of the display shows various data visualization pages on the apofacy.com website, along with frequency of visit. The map to the right shows where visitors are coming from, the breakdown of new/returning visitors, and the relative volume of visitors (size of pie). The bar chart to the far right shows the source of of the visitor.

The charts at the bottom of the display show a simple trend line of visits to the site, and heat map describing the relative frequency of "previous" and "next" pages surrounding a visit to a data visualization page. The dark shade indicates a higher frequency of activity. For example, visitors to data vizualization pages most often come directly to the page from an outside link (i.e. "Entrance") and immediately leave the site after leaving the page (i.e. "Exit"). Apofacy needs to do a better job of retaining its visitors!

The entire display offers interactive filters. By clicking on Data Viz Page bar on the chart in the upper left will filter the rest of the display (map, trends, heatmap, etc.). All charts in the display will offer this type of interactivity. Give it a shot!
